In November 2015 about 40 ex-students from the class of ’65 met at Box Hill Golf Club for their 50th reunion. For several months the organising committee worked hard trying to contact others from their year. We thank Bill and Olivia (Penfold) Clarke, Ian Coles, Roger Westh, Jill (Davies) Fletcher, Yvonne (McLaren) Giltinan and Julie (McMorran) Stevens for their diligence and persistence. The setting overlooking the greens was delightful, the food delicious and the welcome from our head prefects amusing, with Georgie Adamson pretending to pull the girls into line about their lack of gloves and hats. We were delighted to have some of our teachers join us, including Wayne Bishop who started teaching at CHS in 1965 and Don Gibb who came to the reunion with his wife. Before the afternoon finished we sang the school song with gusto and promised to catch up again soon. Some of the class of ’65 wrote contributions which were compiled into a booklet Where are they now? The link is attached.
