Hall of Fame Alumni 1991

In 1991, under the leadership of Principal Ann Rusden, the school community celebrated its Jubilee. Eighteen ex-students who have made notable achievements were chosen for the Hall of Fame. These leaders of science, literature, sports, music, academia and various other fields have left their mark not only on Camberwell High School, but also on modern Australia and the world. Their full biographies can be viewed below.

In 2018, Principal Jill Laughlin invited the committee of the Ex-Students Society to update the 18 profiles in the school’s foyer so that the Hall of Fame will continue to inspire current and future students.

The Ex-Students Society acknowledges the contribution of the 1991 Hall of Fame committee: Professor Kwong Lee Dow, Professor Peter Gronn, Rex and June Thompson and Jane Leech.
