2014 Annual Dinner

“Thank YOU so much for all the organisation you went to to double your numbers. Our people all had a great night and I’m sure they will be ready to front up again next year. Well done and congratulations! I organise many functions for a couple of committees myself and appreciate the work you put into it. So let me know when you set a date for 2015 and we’ll swing into action.” An alumnus from class of ‘58

“Great event at Box Hill for Christmas, well done!” An alumnus from class of ‘71

“Congratulations on tonight’s most successful dinner. A really lovely occasion that enabled me to catch up with several former classmates. Thank you for all your effort in the organising of it. These things do not simply happen by chance. They are the product of a lot of time and energy and jolly hard work, and those there were the recipients of your expert planning and execution.” An alumnus from class of ‘60

If you were not able to join us for our annual dinner on December 3rd you missed out on a wonderful dinner with 100 ex-students, staff and guests. Our numbers doubled from last year and we had great support from our CHESS champions who organised tables that kept on growing up to the day of the dinner. It was especially good to have CHESS committee member Ashley Wah (2013) as our MC for the evening and he interviewed the school SRC leaders. Principal Jill Laughlin and former Principal Ann Rusden also attended. Our guest speaker Len Brear (1960) provided amusing anecdotes about his 24 years of service as a Victorian Magistrate and Coroner. Andrew Lovitt, who came from Launceston and had all his siblings there, thanked the committee for the night and many others added their thanks as they left. Wednesday December the 2nd 2015 is already booked!
