Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club 4th December 2012
As guests of Bruce Hayman, 27 committee members and guests gathered to enjoy Christmas dinner. The evening included a most interesting short talk by current CHS Principal, Jill Laughlin, on the new Innovation Centre that was opened this year. Graeme Kinross-Smith read some of his poetry and guests reminisced about the times that he was describing.
The guests included 9 former students from 1940–1949; 8 from 1950–1959; 4 from 1960–1969 and Bernard Corser, former President, from the ’70’s. Some had travelled from Geelong and Castlemaine to attend and many were delighted to have been invited. The committee plan to make this an annual event and all are welcome.
