Our memberships support our school

The Ex-Students Society is proud of the support that it has given our school over many years. This year our gift of $6000 included a contribution to to the Principal’s Well-Being Fund ($2,800), which supports some students who need extra assistance with their educational costs, and also CHESS scholarships for 4 outstanding students ($700).

The library receives $750 from The Robert Ewins Memorial Fund which was set up to honour former teacher Robert Ewins. CHESS donates an additional $500. Two literature awards are also given to encourage students to excel in their writing and love of literature.

CHESS also administers the Naomi Harrison Bequest which provides tuition costs for an aboriginal girl for 5 years of her education.

Our website makes it very easy to either renew your membership or become a new member. Choose which membership you want, then enter your personal and credit card details. On payment, you will receive a receipt. Membership renewal starts from the day you pay. Please use the email that you have previously given us. 

Your bequest or donation would greatly encourage gifted students, support the library, or contribute to the Principal’s Well-Being Fund. A designated donation to CHESS would enable us to maintain our website with its substantial archive of photos, documents and Prospice’s. It’s never too early to start thinking about a donation or a charitable gift – now could be the perfect time to create your legacy! ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTABLE.
